Play with the West Coast Philharmonic Orchestra –

2021-2022 Season NOW OPEN!

We love music, sharing stories (musical and otherwise) and performing for our community!

The West Coast Philharmonic, like all our ensembles, re-groups each year for a new season. All players, new and existing, go through a blind audition process before the start of each new season.

This means our ensemble stays fresh, alert and inclusive, focusing on pure musical talent! We are privileged to have many returning members each year, some of which have been playing with the ensemble for some years – but we also love meeting new players who add their own artistry to our group.

This year, auditions will be fully digital, whereby applicants can video record their auditions at home (in one take) and submit them for blind screening. More information about the process can be found on our audition process information sheet.

NEW West Coast Phil Mentor Program – next season we are delighted to introduce a new mentoring program to the West Coast Phil. Members will be able to further develop their skills as section leaders or section members through one of our section mentors. Find out more about our wonderful mentors here.

We have also given more time for tutti auditionees to apply – so if you’re not sure about applying for a principal role, no problems!
